Article Review Process
Initial review of the manuscript by the editor-in-chief and the managing editor to ensure compliance with the journal’s aims and manuscript preparation guidelines.
In the case of structural deficiencies, the manuscript will be immediately returned to the corresponding author for revision.
If the manuscript does not align with the journal’s scope and objectives, the corresponding author will be advised to submit it to another journal. For borderline cases where a decision is difficult, the matter will be referred to the editorial board.
Upon approval by the editor-in-chief, the manuscript will be sent to at least two expert reviewers (three if necessary).
The selection of expert reviewers for each manuscript is at the discretion of the editor-in-chief; however, in special cases, consultation with the editorial board may be sought.
If the reviewers approve the manuscript but request revisions, it will be sent to the author(s) for the required modifications.
A second review will be conducted to make sure that the revisions that were asked for have been addressed.
If two reviewers reject the manuscript, the corresponding author will be informed that the paper will not be prioritized for publication.
If at least two reviewers deem the manuscript suitable—either in the initial review or after revisions—it will be prioritized for publication.
Manuscripts will be placed in the publication queue based on their approval date.
Accepted articles will be published in the biannual journal.
