Peer Review Process

Article Review Process

  • Initial review of the manuscript by the editor-in-chief and the managing editor to ensure compliance with the journal’s aims and manuscript preparation guidelines.

  • In the case of structural deficiencies, the manuscript will be immediately returned to the corresponding author for revision.

  • If the manuscript does not align with the journal’s scope and objectives, the corresponding author will be advised to submit it to another journal. For borderline cases where a decision is difficult, the matter will be referred to the editorial board.

  • Upon approval by the editor-in-chief, the manuscript will be sent to at least two expert reviewers (three if necessary).

  • The selection of expert reviewers for each manuscript is at the discretion of the editor-in-chief; however, in special cases, consultation with the editorial board may be sought.

  • If the reviewers approve the manuscript but request revisions, it will be sent to the author(s) for the required modifications.

  • A second review will be conducted to make sure that the revisions that were asked for have been addressed.

  • If two reviewers reject the manuscript, the corresponding author will be informed that the paper will not be prioritized for publication.

  • If at least two reviewers deem the manuscript suitable—either in the initial review or after revisions—it will be prioritized for publication.

  • Manuscripts will be placed in the publication queue based on their approval date.

  • Accepted articles will be published in the biannual journal.
