About Journal

The Scientific Journal of Sport and Biomotor Sciences received its scientific-research license from the Head of the Research Planning and Policy-making Center of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology on 2011-06-01 (License No. 90/3/11/45/817). The dedicated efforts of the late Professor Hamedi Nia, the journal’s former editor-in-chief, were instrumental in obtaining this license and ensuring the journal’s optimal operation until 2017. Currently, the executive team and scholars in the field of physiology, wholeheartedly supported by the university’s Research Deputy, have initiated dynamic scientific and operational advancements within the journal. By divine grace and steadfast determination, these efforts are expected to elevate the journal’s academic standing, making it a distinguished platform for physiologists at both national and international levels. The journal’s staff strive to promote authentic and high-quality research while upholding scientific and ethical publication standards, aiming to foster practical and original scholarly activities.

This Semiannual open-access journal (providing full-text access to all articles) is published by Hakim Sabzevari University. A fee of 2,000,000 IRR will be charged to authors whose manuscripts are accepted for publication.

The journal employs a double-blind peer-review policy covering both practical and research aspects of exercise physiology and athletic performance. The Scientific Journal of Sport and Biomotor Sciences aims to advance the knowledge of sports physiologists, scientists, physicians, and researchers in athletic performance. It promotes the publication of research in exercise physiology and related fields that have direct practical applications for enhancing athletic performance or preventing its decline.
